HOW LONG DO DERMAL FILLERS LAST?
After getting dermal filler injections, you will be able to see instant results, however, it will take about 48-72 hours to see the final result. The effects of dermal fillers fade gradually over time. For the vast majority of patients, results should last between 6 and 12 months.
WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID?
Hyaluronic acid is a type of sugar molecule that is found naturally within the body, with the highest concentrations in the joints, eyes, and skin.
In the skin hyaluronic acid attracts water, which allows the skin to become more hydrated and it is a major component of the natural skin barrier. Hyaluronic acid fillers help to restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles and fine lines, and add hydration, volume and plumpness, due to its ability to pull in and retain water. However, the natural aging process and exposure to things like ultraviolet radiation from the sun, tobacco smoke, and pollution can decrease its amounts in the skin.
